Nice! I have heard though that those closed loop liquid cooling jobbies are only as good as air coolers, though i can only go by tech reviews i do not have actual experience with them, can i ask we do some Real World compairsons?

Im running i5 2500K @4.4Ghz too. But im cooling with a Zalman CNPS9900 LED. I average in BF3(with a clean inside) 60-65 C never really above that

Well, with 4.4GHZ overclock at 1.45V on CPU and at max load it gets up to about 65C, ambient roomtemperature is about 30C.
Idletemps are down to 32C so just 2C above roomtemp. And should also add I run the 2 x 120MM fans in Quiet-mode which is like 28-35% speed of the fans.

And then comparing to my Coolermaster Hyper 612S which is a whooping 980grams of aluminum and copper with 2 x 120MM fans and the overclock could only go up to 4.2GHZ to reach the same temperature at 1.38V core. And should also add I ran the 2 x 120MM fans in 100% speed.

So in my opinion, these systems are really good and actually cheaper than a good aircooler, much quieter and no maintenance needed really apart from changing thermal compound if you're using the same parts for longer than a year with constant uptime.
